Shekem (Easing the Burden through Worship)

Shekem?

Shekem is a Hebraic word and is defined in the Strong's Concordance as
"the neck (between the shoulders) as the place of burdens" and it is also
the name of the place where Abram was given his first promise by
Jehovah (Gen. 12:6).

It is the mission of Shekem.org to reach out into the community and
the world to "ease the burden" through Christ centered worship by
coming into a fellowship of believers and ministering to them through
the gifts The Lord has given us.

When booked for a location, we come in among fellow believers and
minister through Song and Teaching with a spirit of Love and Worship.
The music is a combination of Southern Gospel and Contemporary
Worship.

Our earnest desire is to lead others to the glorious love of Jesus Christ
through Salvation, and to prompt fellow believers into opening their hearts
to Holy Spirit and allowing the Lord's Grace to work among God's
children as they worship.

Psa 86:12 I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.
